Bhartruhari Mahtab

Bhartruhari Mahtab (born 8 September 1957) is an Indian politician from Odisha and is nominated to serve as the pro tem speaker of the Lok Sabha in June 2024. He has been a member of Lok Sabha from 1998 to 2024. Before 2024 election, he joined BJP. He was inducted to the party by Vinod Tawde, Dharmendra Pradhan and Baijayant Panda.

Mahtab is the son of late Harekrushna Mahatab, who served two times as the Chief Minister of Odisha.
