Tanner Emmanuel Buchanan (born December 8, 1998) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles in the ABC political drama series Designated Survivor (2016–2018) and the Netflix action series Cobra Kai (2018–2025).

Buchanan was born in Lima, Ohio, on December 8, 1998. His parents are Steve and Marlona Buchanan. Buchanan's maternal grandfather was Filipino. He was raised in a Christian household and he attended Glandorf Elementary School in Ohio. He moved to Los Angeles with his family in 2007 to pursue his acting career.
